For nearly 30 years, Angela Minniefield has been dedicated to health professions education access and to equitable healthcare accessibility for underserved and under-resourced communities. Angela joined the Executive Leadership at »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË in April 2012 and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Advancement and Operations and COO of the University. Angela directs and oversees the University’s advancement efforts including –fundraising, communications, and government and public relations activities and the following operating units of the University: human resources, facilities maintenance, risk management and campus safety. Since joining the University, Angela has helped the University raise over $135M to support the growth of academic programs, student enrollment and student services, and the renovation/remodeling and construction of university facilities.
Angela, previously held several leadership positions at the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD), where she directed resources of over $15 million to advance California’s health workforce policy efforts to create State sponsored scholarship and loan repayment programs and to create the California Healthcare Workforce Data Clearinghouse to collect data on licensed and certified providers in California to advance health workforce diversity and to understand the practice patterns of healthcare personnel in CA.
